MISSION STATEMENT:  The Coral Glades High School Booster Club, The Boosters, are composed of parents and other community members who have an interest in improving and assisting the Coral Glades High School football team (Varsity and Junior Varsity). 

The Booster’s primary purpose is fundraising to support the football program and promote school spirit through sports.

Booster Club Meetings 2011 Schedule

Booster Club meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.  All meetings are held at 7:30 pm in the Media Center of Coral Glades High School. Enter from the front parking lot.

What We Do...
In these times of wholesale budget cuts, many schools are reducing the number of teams they field or are cutting sports programs entirely. The budget crisis is not over, and continued careful planning and community support is needed if we are to keep our football program going strong.

The CGHS Football Booster Club's primary purpose is to coordinate fundraising efforts to support the football program.  The bulk of our monies are raised in the form of car washes, parking fees collected, spirit items sold, banner sales, advertising programs, and Booster Membership fees.

Last year alone, the Boosters provided funding for:

  • Coaches Certifications
  • Equipment
  • Uniforms
  • Weight Room Equipment/Supplies
  • Assistant Coaching Salaries
  • Summer Camp
  • Playing Field Costs
  • Transportation Expenses
  • Video Recording for Scholarship Scouts
  • Gas for Team Vehicles

Our Goals for 2012/2013

  1. Enhancing training and medical support for football, including assistance of full or part-time staff
  2. Assistant Coaching Salaries
  3. Playing Field Costs
  4. Summer Camp
  5. New uniforms and equipment
  6. Healthy pre-game meals
  7. Developing an on-site tutor/athlete education program
  8. Other infrastructural needs for each sport, as needed

Booster Membership
In order to maintain our quality/competitive football program here at Coral Glades High, we need parents of all football players to become members of the Boosters. One membership is good for an entire family of athletes (i.e., if you have multiple athletes participating at Coral Glades High, your single family membership covers all of them; you only need to buy one membership). 

MINIMUM Per/Athlete Booster Registration = $25  membership
